The Horus Heresy Narrative Event

Legionnes Astartes, Traitor Legionnes!

The time has come to take sides and prove your might!

What was the infamous Horus Heresy?

During the 31st millennium, the powerful Imperium of Man saw its first and most devastating, galaxy wide civil war that shook the very foundation of the Imperium. This marked the end of the Great Crusade, helmed by the charismatic Emperor of Mankind, and brought about the splintering of the great Legionnes of the Primarchs. It would later be titled The Horus Heresy”.

Though the Heresy was ignited by the product of a conspiracy by the forces of Chaos, there were precipitating factors that helped push many of the Legio Astartes towards rebellion. The first was the Emperor's return to and seclusion on Terra, working on a secret project that he refused to share with any of his sons, including his most favored son Horus, whom he had named Warmaster. This apparent abandonment of the Great Crusade, for something he would not even share with his sons bred mistrust, resentment, and disappointment towards the Emperor amongst many of the Primarchs.

What is a Narrative Event?

A Warhammer narrative event is a gaming experience that allows players to contribute to the ongoing narrative of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy universe. Narrative events are immersive and often include memorable battlefields, interesting missions, and decisions for players to make.

This allows the players to battle through lore-driven adventures, and letting you see the background as it develops in real time. Isn’t that exciting?
